Employee Giving

HealthReach Community Health Centers employs over 250 physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, and behavioral health consultants, as well as clinical support and administrative professionals. Our staff take pride in providing high quality medical and behavioral healthcare as well as dental services at two locations to area residents and travelers. HealthReach employees come from local communities we serve, prestigious medical and dental training programs, multiple states, and other countries. Many staff members have deep roots in local communities and proudly provide primary care and prevention services to neighbors. Some of our providers have worked at our local health centers for many years and served multiple generations. Each year, recent graduates and seasoned providers seeking new challenges choose to begin working in our facilities.

Our employees have a well-established practice of contributing time and money to important causes:

Annual Campaign: HealthReach employees maintain a long-standing tradition of contributing to local communities through our Annual Combined Campaign. In 2019, we achieved a total of $15,365 in contributions from employees and board members. Donations included $10,281 for HealthReach and $5,084 for Good Shepherd Food Bank, our local non-profit organization selected for this year.

Community Volunteer Opportunities: Many HealthReach employees participate in volunteer opportunities in our local communities by donating time for schools, camps, ski patrols and social service organizations. In addition, HealthReach clinical providers and administrators play critical leadership roles in state of Maine initiatives and task forces.

Investing in HealthReach programs not only supports the healthcare of neighbors. It is also an investment in the economy of our local region.
