COVID-19 Testing

HealthReach Community Health Centers has two COVID-19 testing options, which may be utilized based on clinical decision-making:

• In-house antigen testing: $56.00
• PCR testing (HRCHC staff collect sample, NorDx processes sample): $110.00

HealthReach (antigen testing) or NorDx (PCR testing) will bill your insurance. Ask your clinician if you have questions about testing options and test result turnaround times. Connectors can assist you with any questions about insurance that you may have as well.

Payment Policy

Payment is expected at the time of your visit. This includes co-payments required by your insurance company. We offer an Affordable Care Program to ensure that our services are available to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. Please inquire about the Affordable Care Program or payment arrangements for more information.

We accept cash, personal check, credit and debit cards from VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discovery, as well as payment from all insurance companies. A fee may be charged for any checks returned for non-sufficient funds.

Non-Payment

It is our goal to assist all of our patients to find payment options as appropriate. Please be aware, however, that we reserve the right to send anyone who has not made a payment in 90 days to a collection agency.

Insurance

We accept all major insurance companies and managed care health plans, including Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross and Cigna, as well as Medicare and Medicaid (MaineCare). As your insurance card contains the correct information we need to bill your insurance for you, please bring your card to each visit.

We do not participate in all managed care plans. We recommend that you check with your managed care plan to ensure that the health center is named as a participating provider in order to obtain your best reimbursement. If your plan requires you to choose a primary care provider (PCP), be sure to name your health center provider.
