Lovejoy Health Center Welcomes New Provider Kaitlynn Read, FNP

ALBION – Kaitlynn Read, Family Nurse Practitioner, will be joining Lovejoy Health Center’s medical team this summer to provide primary care to people of all ages. She recently completed a Master of Science in Nursing degree at Simmons College in Massachusetts. Previously, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Child/Human Development and Psychology from the University of Maine and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine.

“My first experience with HealthReach was as an FNP student at one of their local practices,” Kait recently shared. “I found the staff to be so welcoming, and incredibly kind and considerate of all of their patients. When a position opened at Lovejoy, which is close to home, I wanted to join the team right away! I love that patients can obtain comprehensive, quality healthcare close to home. I am excited to offer care to my patients that helps them to meet their health goals. I believe healthcare should focus on improving how patients feel every day by making small, manageable changes, and should be a partnership between provider and patient.”

Kait will be joining physicians Dean Chamberlain and Forrest West, podiatrist Bert Mason, physician assistants Bobby Keith and Gretchen Morrow, clinical social worker Deb Daigle, and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner Marta Hall.
