Madison Area Health Center to Hold Toiletries Drive

MADISON – Madison Area Health Center will hold a Toiletries Drive in celebration of National Health Center Week starting Wednesday, August 1st  and ending Friday, August 31st. Donations will be accepted at the Health Center during regular business hours.

All donations will be collected to support health center patients in need of assistance. Donated items must be new and unused or unopened, please. 

Examples of needed toiletry items include:
  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Deodorant
  • Feminine Hygiene
  • Toilet Paper
  • Lotion
  • Lip Balm
  • Shaving Cream
  • Shaving Razors

The event is being held in celebration of National Health Center Week, which runs from August 12th - 18th. This year’s theme for National Health Center Week is “Celebrating America’s Health Centers: Home of America’s Healthcare Heroes.” One of the bright spots in America’s health care system, Community Health Centers serve more than 27 million Americans, a number that continues to grow along with the demand for affordable primary care.
