ALBION – Lovejoy Health Center will hold its Annual School Supplies Drive in celebration of National Health Center Week starting Monday, August 13 and ending Friday, August 24. All donations from the community will be brought to Albion Elementary School in an effort to supply students with the tools they need to learn and grow in the classroom.
Some of the most needed classroom supplies include No. 2 pencils, large pink erasers, colored pencils, glue sticks, lunch bags or boxes and backpacks. New, unused items only, please. Every donation makes a difference!
Lovejoy Health Center is located at 7 School Street in Albion. For more information, call (207) 437-9388.
The event is being held in celebration of National Health Center Week, which runs from August 12th - 18th. This year’s theme for National Health Center Week is “Celebrating America’s Health Centers: Home of America’s Healthcare Heroes.” One of the bright spots in America’s health care system, Community Health Centers serve more than 27 million Americans, a number that continues to grow along with the demand for affordable primary care.
