Belgrade Regional Health Center Welcomes Laurie Rodrigues

BELGRADE - A second clinical social worker will be joining Belgrade Regional Health Center this fall as the site is expanding behavioral health services for patients of the practice.  Laurie Rodrigues, LCSW, will bring over 20 years of social work experience working with older adults, adults, children and families. She obtained her Master’s degree in Social work at Rhode Island College and undergraduate degree at University of Rhode Island. Her areas of clinical interest include Gerontology, Trauma Informed Approach to Treatment and Neuropsychology.

Laura recently shared: “I view myself as a clinical social worker with a generalist perspective. I utilize a holistic, strength-based and person-centered approach. I strive to partner with individuals, assisting them with identification of barriers to achieving overall health and establishing realistic goals with them towards improved functioning. The position as a behavioral health consultant at Belgrade Regional Health Center appealed to me because it offers a unique opportunity to participate in an interdisciplinary team of providers in one setting where more integrative, effective and efficient care can take place.”

Laurie will be joining Amy Madden, MD, Jennifer Caudell, FNP, and Kathryn Morang, FNP, who provide medical care to patients of all ages. In addition, Kimberly Patnode, LCSW, who joined the practice in 2015, assists patients with behavioral health needs, Dianne Raymond, PhD, PMHNP, offers adult psychiatric medication management, and Bert Mason, DPM, provides podiatry services. The health center offers primary care to over 2,000 people from the Belgrade Lakes Region and beyond.
